The DCM Group resulted from three companies coming together: Sinters America, DCM Aerospace and AWI (Aerospace Welding), each a leader in its respective field in the aerospace industry.

DCM is recognized by Transport Canada as a designated approval organization
(DAO) and MOA, and has been granted the following approvals:

• It also has manufacturing licences issued by Boeing, Bombardier Aerospace and Embraer
